Answer

Rollins College maintains an online subscription to the New York Times website. Access is unlimited full-text from 1851-1923 and from 1981-present, with limited access from 1923-1980, and is only available for current students, faculty, and staff.

For new NYT users:
From a web browser, go to nytimes.com, click Login, and scroll down and click select “Continue with work or school single sign-on” at the bottom of the login page.

Existing NYT users:
From a web browser, login into your nytimes.com account. Then go to Account > Email and settings > click "Connect" next to Work or School.

How do I log in via Okta?
Subscribers can go to nytimes.com, click Login, and immediately scroll down and click “Continue with work or school single sign-on” at the bottom of the login page.  You can also find the New York Times tile in Okta, click it, and then click the login button at the top of the NYT homepage.

Having trouble with access?
Academic passes are valid for 4 years, after which you will need to go to nytimes.com, then scroll down and click on “Continue with work or school single sign on ” to authenticate for another 4 years.

If you're getting an authentication error when trying to log into NYT, clear your browser cache/cookies/history or use your browser's incognito version.
