How can I access the Washington Post?

Olin Library provides online access to the Washington Post. If you are accessing the newspaper from off campus, you will need to authenticate using your Fox ID and password.

Online access to content from 2014 to present is available from Gale Academic OneFile.

Answer

Current Rollins students, faculty, and staff have unlimited access to the Washington Post.  This will allow you to access the Post from anywhere and to use their app. To sign up for this access, just follow these instructions:

  1. Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signup and sign up with your rollins.edu email address.
  2. Choose a password and create an account.
  3. You will receive an email with a link to verify your email address. Click on that link to activate your subscription.

If you have already registered for a Washington Post account with your Rollins email address but need to activate your access:

  1. Sign in with your Rollins account here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signup
  2. Check to make sure that your email address has been verified.  Click on your name at the top right of the page to access the menu.
  3. Navigate to account settings and select Verify.  This will send the verification email.  There will be no prompt if your email is already verified.

Once you create and verify an account, you can download the app and sign in there.
