What does "include results beyond Olin" do in R-Search?

There is a toggle at the top of the Tweak my results column of R-Search searches.  Unlike most other facets you use, toggling this switch will increase the number of search results.

Answer

When enabled, this option includes results that Olin does not have access to, but which can be requested via Interlibrary Loan.  This might be a useful search alteration if your research is very specialized and you are not finding many results.

If something is not available through Olin, the item record will say this.  You can then use the interlibrary loan request link on the item page to request it.
