How do I find a streaming movie?

Answer

If you already know the title of the movie you want to watch, you can enter it in R-Search, the search box on the Library's homepage. Before you click the Search button, change the filter beneath the search box from Everything to Books, Films, and More. When the results load, your movie should be the top result. You can also use the filters on the left to narrow to Availability: Full Text Online and Resource Type: Audio Visual.

Please note, this will work in most cases. However, if you do not find the movie using R-Search, we recommend double checking by doing the following steps:

1. Click on Find a Database on the Library's homepage

2. Click on Type and select Streaming Media

3. Open the following databases and search for your title in each one: Academic Video Online, Films on Demand, Kanopy, and Swank Digital Campus.
