Where can I find case law and other specialized legal resources?

There are a variety of free resources for case law, such as Google Scholar. A guide from the Law Library of Congress outlines how these resources work and where to access them, ideal for getting started or where only a quick lookup is necessary.

For more in-depth research, please visit our partners at the FAMU Law Library in downtown Orlando. They are open to Rollins students and have WestLaw terminals for case law research, a variety of legal research databases, and experienced law librarians ready to help you.

We recommend calling their Reference desk prior to your visit at (407) 254-3289 or e-mailing them at famulawlibrary@gmail.com. By describing your project ahead of time, their librarians can suggest resources to start with, so you can be economical with your time once you get there.
