How do I activate Barron's and MarketWatch if I have a Wall Street Journal account?

Barron's and MarketWatch are twin resources for finance and economics. While Barron's takes a deeper dive into the stock market and the economy, MarketWatch emphasizes consumer and personal finance.

If you already have a Wall Street Journal account through Olin Library, you can link your it to Barron's and MarketWatch. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Barron's/MarketWatch registraton page.
  2. Select your account type (Student, Staff, Professor).
  3. Enter your first name, last name, and Rollins e-mail.
  4. When the screen says "It looks like you already have an account," click the green "Sign in" button.
  5. Enter your e-mail address on the next screen.
  6. On the following screen, choose your password, and click "Sign in."
  7. Click on the verification link that goes to your Rollins inbox. You are all set!

We encourage students, faculty, and staff in the following areas to register for Barron's and MarketWatch:

  • Business Management
  • International Business
  • Economics
  • Social Entrepreneurship
  • Healthcare Management
  • Human Resources Management
  • Crummer Graduate School of Business

Due to limited acounts, if you are outside these areas, please reach out to Blake Robinson, Business Librarian, to see if these resources are right for your needs.
